
Dr. Adam J. Rottman-Thomas, PT, DPT

Adam attended Northeastern University in Boston, MA earning a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Science with a Psychology minor and then a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2019. While at Northeastern, he competed on the varsity track & field team in the pole vault as well as performed on stage in several musicals and plays. Growing up in the SF Bay Area, he was involved in soccer, rugby, baseball, basketball, trampoline, gymnastics, and track. He loves learning about and trying new sports from patients and has worked to help clients return to Jiu Jitsu, fencing, diving, football, lacrosse, and more. He also plays guitar, fiddles around on the piano, and performs with the Reign City Riot pep band as an Alto Saxophonist. He volunteers with Seattle Dance & Performing Arts Medicine (SeaPAM) in their monthly free clinic. He has also worked with gold medalist Stacy Dragila and Try Something New, Inc traveling across the US and the UK educating elementary schoolers on the sport of Stick Jumping.
He has conducted research both in school and professionally. His senior research project was “Exploring the relationship between visuospatial abilities, attention, reaction time, and motor learning in two virtual environments” looking at how people interact with 2D vs 3D environments. He also has designed and conducted research with Orthopedic Wellness Laboratories, Inc testing a new device for neck strengthening.
